Blogging has become something of o phenomenon over the last few years or so. It is safe to say that most of the people that have done anything online will have posted a blog of one kind or another at some point in time. Blogging is certainly a good resource to get your message in front of many viewers quite easily.
Blogging can be done by joining free blogging sites such as WordPress or blogger.com, or you could just create your own site and then host it on the servers. Blogging can also be a very good way for people to earn extra cash online too.
It is fair to say that blogger.com is by far the easier of the two free sites to set up and run but WordPress can offer you a lot more independence as well as giving you more control over your blogs.
If you are selling anything online then you could make money by writing an article that relates to the product that you are selling.
The next step would be to submit your written article to one of the many article directories as well as publishing it on your blog. This would then give you links from the directory to your blog which should in turn place your blog higher up the rankings in many of the search engines. This in turn could get you more potential visitors and of course customers.
Blogging is also a very interactive resource which means that people are allowed to comment on your blogs and you in turn can comment on other blogs.
Make sure that when you comment on a blog that it is relevant so that you could indirectly link people back to your blog. By linking them back to your blog you are in effect getting more traffic to your site.
This just goes to show that by simply using blogs and submitting to article directories you can quite effectively bring potential customers to see your product which can make you extra cash.
